IVoH at Peace Village, a Poem

IVOH at Peace Village, A Poem (well, kind of)

by Barrie Brett

To Peace Village, we all did flock
Spending time, not living by the clock
A hundred or so, concerned with story
Not there, for any personal glory

How uplifting to be surrounded by them
Not worrying, about so little REM
Ideas flowing, causes shared
Revealing what, many have dared

To make a difference on this globe
Dressed in jeans or caftan robe
A message leading, from that of cope
To offering, a hand of hope

United we were, to hear all the news
Sharing thoughts, and points of views
A truly splendid gathering, of like-minded folks
Poignant reminders, and a few jokes
