Check out the
NYT theater review of our own (Images and Voices of Hope "thought leader") Peggy Engel's first play: "Red Hot Patriot: the Kick-Ass Wit of
Molly Ivins." It's a serendipitous story how Peggy and her
twin sister Allison brought their one-woman show starring
Kathleen Turner to the stage. I got a
sneak peek last June, a mere reading, where I swear Kathleen Turner channeled Molly. Many of you will remember Peggy's inspired reading at last year's summit. The show opens at the
Philadelphia Theatre Company on Wednesday. It's full of laughter, melancholy, and insights about Molly's brand of courageous journalism.
Congratulations to Peggy and Allison!
