I have had the privilege of visiting Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. I've been very impressed by the many successful CARE projects that address the enormous need for food security, clean water, AIDS treatment and education. Still, when I think of Africa, I am overwhelmed with sadness. All I see are the hungry children, cruel wars, and failed states. 

Brian Williams ended his March 4th newscast with a request for story ideas.  "While it might not seem like it every evening, we are always looking for good news." 

This is a call to Images and Voices of Hope for stories about resilience, ingenuity, courage and dignity.
