[JULY 14] IVOH LOCAL CONVERSATION MIAMI: Media Change-Makers in the New Normal

Images & Voices of Hope Conversation Coming Up in Miami!

Many South Florida media professionals will soon be coming together to participate in an Images & Voices of Hope conversation. This event will focus on Media Change-Makers in the New Normal ... a conversation invites journalists, filmmakers and others to explore and reflect on the changes that continue to happen in their own work and in the world of media. This program will be held at L.M.N.T Gallery located at 55 NW 36th Street, Miami, Florida 33127 on Thursday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to noon followed by lunch.

The participants will have the opportunity hear from some distinguished media leaders who are in the forefront of change. They include award winning filmmaker and Executive Director of the Knight Center for International Media at the University of Miami Sanjeev Chatterjee. Also joining us to present will be Jose Carlos Zamora, Co-manager, Knight News Challenge.

Images & Voices of Hope South Florida has presented numerous events over the past 12 years at many venues including WLRN Radio and Television station, Miami City Ballet Studios, Miami Herald and St. Thomas University.

Some of the past speakers at South Florida conversations have included Channel 10 anchor/reporter Laurie Jennings, Univision Anchor/reporter Jorge Ramos, Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist Jim Morin and arts leader/author Lin Arison.
