Dear friends,

It was wonderful to hear so many of your voices yesterday and to have a chance to catch up on the extraordinary work you are doing. I had forgotten how funny this group is. Connie - I'm afraid it's too late on the "Magnificent 7". I think we can expect a poem and song from Victor and theme music from Carl in June.

We missed hearing the voices of those of you who couldn't join us for the call, but look forward to seeing you in June at the Fetzer Institute. Here is the way Bob described what we'll be up to in June:

"We will build on our journey of the past two gatherings when we explored purpose and values. We will celebrate the meaningful work we're doing in journalism - in the newsroom, in the field, in print, on line, on the air, on the stage, in the classroom, in the community, in so many substantive ways. We'll explore our next action steps and consider collaboration pathways with Thought Leaders and other partners. We'll ponder why we stay committed to the course we are on and why we might venture to something new or maybe even return to something old. We'll talk and we'll listen. We'll find comfort with good friends. We'll laugh and we'll sing. We'll connect the practice of journalism with the personal pieces of our lives."
We are starting to work with the Fetzer Institute on planning, so we will be writing you soon to begin to coordinate flight details. Please make sure you have June 3 - 6 set aside on your calendar.

Maryalice will be in touch with details on a conference call on "Crowd Sourcing" hosted by Michael Skoler with special guests. We hope you can join us for this.
