From time to time we link to other global organizations that share our vision of media as an agent of world benefit. At the dawn of the 21st century, a group of journalists gathered at the World Media Assembly in Sarajevo to discuss the business pressures on fraying news organizations. They produced the "Sarajevo Commitment," calling on all members of the media to make a pledge to integrity and public service. Its message still resonates today. |
