Lately, many of us feel overwhelmed by news coverage — the daily onslaught of despair and anger and loss – that can lead us to retreat just when our communities need us to be the most engaged.

Images of Voices & Hope (ivoh) offers an alternate vision. We are leading a movement in strengths-based media to show the possibilities in creating the world we want, not just the one that is.

Please support ivoh today with a tax-deductible donation to breathe new life into traditional ways of telling stories about our world. Research shows that uplifting stories can motivate us to take action and create positive change.

Your donation supports ivoh’s groundbreaking work, including The Restorative Narrative Fellowship program that provides coaching and creates community for a class of journalists, artists and other media makers each year to amplify the best in human nature by telling stories of resilience and recovery.

One of our 2017 Fellows, Jed Lipinski, recently published “Justice for Danny” for Times-Picayune and had this to say about his experience:

“I’d written long form before,’’ said ivoh Fellow Jed Lipinski, a health reporter for the Times Picayune in New Orleans. “But in just a couple of weeks of getting to understand ivoh’s concept of restorative narratives I had this new confidence. The genre gives you permission to rethink how you conceptualize the story from start to finish. It was groundbreaking for me to get that kind of deep nuts-and-bolts training and the time to let it impact your work.’’
