
Eric Le Reste is the Senior Producer for Canadian Public Television's daily show “Le Téléjournal," the main evening News Program in French. He has been with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for the past 25 years, working as a journalist and producer for national radio and television programs in Edmonton, Calgary and now in Montreal.
In the past 15 years, Eric specialised mostly in the field of short documentaries and investigative journalism for Current Affairs Programs on Public Television. Many of his documentaries or programs have received prestigious awards, including the CBC National Television Price for best Documentary in 2001. In 2008, he received the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television Award for best Information Series as Senior Producer for “Zone Libre Enquête”.
Eric Le Reste also offers special training to journalists and producers for the CBC.
