JAKE EHRENREICH Entertainer |

Jake Ehrenreich has been an entertainer his entire life. He is an accomplished musician, actor, playwright, singer, and comedian, and spent the last few years starring in his stage show A Jew Grows in Brooklyn ("a rock n' roll true story, holocaust family, borscht belt comedy musical!?"). The show, which the NY Times described as "dazzling, funny and beautiful", ran to rave reviews in the heart of Broadway for 16 months, and now plays to sold out audiences across the nation.
It is the humorous, musical and poignant story of a first generation American boy and his journey in the face of his holocaust survivor family. On tour, A Jew Grows In Brooklyn recently joined Brittany Spears' National Circus Tour as FOX TV's "HOT TICKET".
A book of the same title is due out in May through HCI publishing, and a documentary is currently being filmed. Jake recently recorded a CD dedicated to his father entitled Yiddish Unplugged, and has begun filming the Jake Ehrenreich Show, a morning TV show with FOX entertainment reporter Rachel Leigh.
Jake performed on Broadway in Dancin', Barnum, and They're Playing Our Song, and toured internationally as Ringo in Beatlemania. He starred for Joseph Papp at the Public Theater in the title role of Jonah, and Off-Broadway performances include Songs Of Paradise, and The Golden Land, and A Hot Minute at The Bottom Line Club in NYC.
An accomplished singer and musician, Jake was featured vocalist and MC at New York's Rainbow Room, sung numerous Radio and TV "jingles" and performed with diverse artists such as Richie Havens, Greg Allman, Whitney Houston, Tito Puente, Cab Calloway, The Smothers Brothers and John Davidson. He has headlined at national conventions for major corporations including American Express, Johnson and Johnson, Walt Disney, and many others.
Jake lives with this wife Lisa and 11 year old son Dovy in upstate NY.
