Project Description: This three-part series looks at those touched by violence and how they move on and grow afterward. There’s the former drug dealer who lost his two brothers to unsolved homicides within 14 months, and is now looking to music to help get himself and others out. And the mom who lost her son and a nephew in their teens and is now looking to change legislation and encourage opening up rather than retribution. But it’s not always a happy ending. There are also those who took the wrong path and now are examples of what happens when there is no second chance, and how others can avoid that fate.
