WELCOME TO IVOH

This blog was born out of the desire to stay in the world of writing and literature. Back in our college days, we were part of a literary club—think Fight Club, but with less fighting and more Faulkner. so we didn’t want to stop writing and reading when we finished studying world literature. We got together, and this blog was born from the foam of ideas. This is the place where you can read all important and fresh information about new books, reviews and get tips for beginners in creative writing.

About us

We’re Anastasia Ritchie and Stacey Bennet, proud graduates of New York University where we both earned our Master’s degrees in Comparative Literature. Our passion for diverse literary traditions, theory and cultural narratives brought us together during our studies, and it has inspired us to create this space. This is our little corner of the literary world!

Our mission is to foster a community of readers and writers who are enthused about literature. We strive to provide a platform through which literature enthusiasts can explore new titles, rediscover classics, and learn how to write their own stories. Through reviews, attractive content, and real-world writing tips, we strive to inspire creativity, promote literacy, and support the development of every aspiring writer. Join us in admiring the power of words and the never-ending adventures they can provide.
